The commercial relations between Wood Company and its customers are governed exclusively by the following terms of sale, in accordance with current laws.
Our products are custom-made to the customer's specifications, who can choose colors, materials, and many options. Therefore, products are manufactured only after an order/purchase is placed.
Payments by credit card, bank transfer, and PayPal are accepted.
The shipping time is 5 business days (Monday–Friday) from the actual receipt of payment. For some items, such as custom carpets, the shipping time is 8 business days.
We ship our products exclusively through the best express couriers and provide the tracking number to the customer on the same day of shipment.
According to current laws, transport is at the consignee's risk; customers may request insured shipping (for costs and conditions, please contact us via email before purchasing).
LEGISLATIVE DECREES – February 21, 2014 – Consumer Protection
Our items are custom-made and produced to order, therefore returns due to a change of mind are not accepted. Of course, it is always possible to return the product for repair or replacement in case of manufacturing defects (LEGISLATIVE DECREE February 21, 2014, no. 21, in particular as provided for by art. 59 letter C of said decree).
The return of goods must be preceded by a registered letter with return receipt or via email, which will be validated only by our confirmation email. The communication must be the reasons for the return. Such communication must be made within 10 days of receiving the product. The delivery date and the date of the first notification by the customer will be taken as reference.
The communication must specify the defects found and clearly indicate whether the customer requests a refund of the defective product or a replacement.
Please wait for written authorization before returning the goods. The goods must be intact in all their parts, properly packaged, and shipped carriage paid to Wood Company by D. Bagni / Via Zatti 23 42122 Reggio Emilia, Italy.
After checking the return, Wood Company will refund the amount paid (net of shipping costs) or resend the same item as a replacement within 14 days.
Product Warranty
The warranty on our products is valid for 2 years (1 year if the purchaser is a company) from the date of purchase. Wood Company Italy protects the original owner: when requesting warranty service, it is essential to provide proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, etc.). Please have it available when contacting us.
Warranty Limitations
The liability of Wood Company Italy is limited to the repair or replacement, at our discretion, of any defective product and does not cover incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the above limitations may not apply. This warranty does not cover:
- Products without valid proof of purchase
- Products whose identification or markings have been removed, altered, deleted, or made illegible
- Damage caused by misuse or improper use, incorrect assembly, improper or insufficient maintenance, accidents, impacts, corrosion, use of aggressive detergents, use with incompatible components, improper repairs, and generally anything not attributable to material or manufacturing defects
- UV exposure effects (slight color variations)
- Salt environment effects
- Repainted products (even partially)
- Modified products
- Damage caused during shipping (the courier is responsible)
Return Authorization – Shipping
Before returning a product to Wood Company Italy, as already stated above, a formal authorization must be requested. Shipping costs to Wood Company Italy are the responsibility of the customer.
