Wood Company was born in Reggio Emilia in the heart of Motor Valley, as a small family-run company, specialized in the production and renovation of wooden and veneer car interiors. Thanks to the high quality of the products realized, Wood Company has been soon noticed by automotive business operators, which supported Wood Company in its evolution.
1995
Thanks to the talent and the creativity of its founders, the realization of a new product had started: an armrest for vehicles. The immediate interest in this new item led Wood Company to become the armrests supplier of all Saab 9.3 Talladega, a special version of Saab 9.3, as a standard accessory. As a starting point, the range has been consequently expanded providing other automotive models and makes like Citroen, Renault and Alfa Romeo.

The great success of these new products has placed them side by side with the former core business but, by the time, they have become the leading product of the company. The asset has addressed mainly towards the international market, becoming supplier of Saab importers in Germany, France, Spain, Swiss and United States. The gaze to the foreign market led the company to develop new armrest models for all the kinds of vehicles and extend its presence in worldwide markets more and more, by the introduction of dozens of importers and wholesalers, as well as e-commerce sale.

Starting as a small family business with steady successful outcomes, Wood Company has changed its corporate name in SRL (Ltd) and organized the company asset in order to expand further in international markets and launch new projects as a consequence of the 25-years-experience in the field of car’s accessories.
